Create sections

Leganto allows you to structure your list in sections to make it easier for students to identify and prioritise their reading for the module. You can decide how you’d like the sections to be arranged.

Some ideas for sections include:

  • Weekly required readings for lectures
  • Themes or subject areas
  • Resource types e.g books, journals, websites
  • Reading relevance e.g. essential reading, recommended reading

  • Choose Default or Weeks from the Create Sections drop-down list
  • Select Create List.

The list is created. You can now add or edit sections of the list if you wish.

To add a new section:

  • Choose Add > New section.

  • Enter the section Title and Description (if relevant).
  • Select where in the list the section should appear.
  • Click Add.

The section is added to the list.
