Accessing ebooks and ejournals from Jan 2018: 

 If you use Google or bookmarks to find ejournal articles, ebooks, databases etc you will no longer automatically be recognised as belonging to Edinburgh Napier University and be given access. The easiest way to find all the resources that you have access to is to start at LibrarySearch. You will now need to log into LibrarySearch on campus, as well as off.    To log in, click Not signed in > Sign in > University member  > then search as usual.

If you prefer to use bookmarks or Google  - you will need to log into the individual eresources using the UK Federation OR  Shibboleth OR institutional login links on the publisher's website.

Library & Academic Skills support - drop in sessions

This section will contain information about our Library Drop in Session dates  for Trimester 2. Come and get help with using reading lists, finding information, tracking down journal articles and books on your topics, referencing - or anything remotely connected with libraries.

If you need help with critical thinking and writing skills,  see the Academic Skills pages on MyNapier. The  team have fabulous online and Moodle resources to help you develop your skills at a time that suits you. They also offer on campus drop in sessions  and one to one bookable appointments to support you with your writing.
