While you're browsing on journal websites, Unpaywall will show a green open padlock icon whenever an open access version of an article is available, and link you directly to the full text. Use this tool to find an easy, free, and legal way around paywalls.

You can use Google Scholar to find open access versions of many research papers. The Google Scholar Button is also available as a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
