Audio recording app, lets you tag your recordings, upload them to dropbox, add pictures to recordings (so you can remember what they're about when you access them later on), as well as save and compress in different file formats.
Using the VMware Horizon App you can benefit from the the Edinburgh Napier University Virtual Desktop Service (VDS) where you can access your student desktop from anywhere, anytime on almost any device - including your H and S drives, and most programmes.

FigShare allows you to upload any file format to be viewed in any browser, including posters, presentations, datasets, code, and much more. One advantage to using FigShare is that all items are assigned a Digital Object Identifier so that they can be more easily discovered, shared, and cited.
While Mendeley is a wonderful for reference management and generating bibliographies, we think it's pretty good for networking as well. The collaborative aspects make it a good choice for sharing literature with teammates, and groups can be public, invite-only, or completely private.
