Other Open Access Resources

There are a number of options for finding works in other institution's repositories, including:

  • OAISTER - Union catalogue of digital resources
  • ROAR - Register of open access repositories
  • EThOS - A collection of UK theses in digital format
  • Google Scholar

REF 2020

To ensure you are ready for REF 2020, deposit the author accepted manuscript of your journal article or conference paper (published with an ISSN) in the repository within three months of being accepted. 

You can also add a copy of the Letter of Acceptance using the Add file option on the Files tab. We will ensure the letter remains private. 

If you have completed your deposit but want to add evidence of acceptance at a later date send it to repository@napier.ac.uk mailbox and we will add it for you.

Sharing Your Research

Edinburgh Napier's new research repository is available at: www.napier.ac.uk/research-and-innovation/repository‚Äč.
 

The repository is an online open access showcase for the published research output of the University, supported by the Library. It's the best place to store, archive and share your published papers, conference papers and more.

Getting Started

The new repository is part of the Worktribe Research Management System. Use your normal University network details to login. 

 

Drop-in training sessions are available across all campuses for academics at the following times –

Why use the Repository?

Anyone who wants to improve their research visibility and citation rate. Edinburgh Napier University staff and research students are required to place in the repository accepted texts of documents being published, together with texts of papers given at conferences. 

To comply with current HEFCE policy for REF 2020, academic staff are required to deposit digital copies of refereed and accepted research documents.

Research associates, research assistants, research students and other members of University staff can also deposit digital copies of refereed and accepted research documents.
